Beyond her planning duties she became an emergency seamstress, sewing up a split bridesmaid’s dress, an impromptu medic, helping a guest through an allergic reaction, and trusted financial advisor (so much so that she made it in the father of the bride speech for adhering seamlessly to our budget).
